  Last Sunday, Green Bay Packers running back Eddie Lacy left the game against the Seattle Seahawks after sustaining an ankle injury. It was later found out that the injury is not serious and that Lacy would able to play next Monday. However, it looks like the Packers are not taking chances as head coach Mike McCarthy mentioned that they will be relying on James Starks to fill in Lacy’s RB1 shoes should be become unavailable.

  Golden State Warriors small forward Harrison Barnes has until October 31 to either sign a contract extension with the team or become a restricted free agent the following summer. A new report suggests that the Warrior’s four-year deal worth $64 million was turned down by Barnes.

  In recent weeks, Sony has reportedly begun rolling out the current Android 5.1.1 Lollipop operating system to a host of models including the previous flagships Xperia Z1, Z1 Compact, and Z Ultra. It even treated mid-range devices such as the Xperia C3 and T2 Ultra with the new upgrade. It now appears that the Japan-based device maker is also working to deliver the said OS to another mid-range lineup, 2014’s Xperia M2, M2 Dual and M2 Aqua.

  On Monday, Microsoft released a preview version of the new Windows 10 Mobile OS to members of its Fast Ring Insider program. The software distributed for testing has the build number 10536. However, the company did not expect that it will break some phones during the process.

  On Friday, the Minnesota Timberwolves have officially announced two new additions to their training camp roster, center Kleon Penn and, more notably, Nick Wiggins, the older brother of second-year Timberwolves small forward Andrew Wiggins. This was first reported by Basketball Insiders’ Eric Pincus, who said that Wiggins and Penn both signed non-guaranteed summer contracts with Minnesota.
